And can we still use the Mods folder for this? If not, how do you add the stuff you want? Thanks.

yes , mods folder still overrides sfs files .... but be aware that you must have all default or customized files present in Mods folder in order to override mod included in HSFX

for example, i had to place all default files for P-40 cockpits + my customized ones in Mods folder ... in order to get rid of P-40 cockpits included in HSFX

btw , sorry to see that updated Wolf's P-51 reticles didn't make in HSFX 4.1 ... good thing i still have them in backup

So then. If I pull a mod out of my 1.2 and drop it in my HSFX MODS folder, I would get all my custom stuff back for that mod? For instance, I did a major rework on the F-86A5 external tanks. I would need to put the F-86A5 mod folder from my 1.2 into the HSFX MODS folder to get my tanks back?

Is there a thread for posting bugs/concerns with HSFX 4.1? Thanks,

Ben

only if there isn't similar mod already present in HSFX .... if it is then you need default files + your modded files present in Mods folder so it override one from HSFX ( sfs) completely

Is it compatible with the Ultrapatch 1.8? Since UP1.8 is based on HSFX4.0, i'm assuming i can use HSFX4.1 on it....

I do not see this folder in the HSFX 4.1 ?
It sounds like you are missing something, an object perhaps that is causing this error, make sure that the 4.1 install is 775 MB and maybe re-install it and try it again. (I had this problem last night and that is what I did) read my previous posts in this thread about making an install from 1.2
Okay further investigation would seem to indicate this problem is related to Zuti 1.01, try it with v0.8. It's also my understanding that the final 4.1 is supposed to contain Zuti 1.1MDF - this will be corrected in due time as that file shouldn't be too large to add as a separate download.

Further testing revealed the reason for the no save in FMB with Zuti 1.01, you must open the MDS tab in the FMB and set parameters (it's pretty easy to figure out) so that it sets these into the mission properties which will add something like this

ZutiCarrierSpawnPoints_CV2 6

Hello akdavis,

changed them, and checked them twice (Rapidshare). Worked for me so far...
Sorry if you had a problem with the integrity of the files or else!?

I was checking the first part against the hash sums listed at 242squadron download thread. I suppose they are different since this is not a torrent. Could you post hash sums for each part so we can verify integrity?
