They are premade collections of mods. By far the easiest way to jump into mods.
Just read the instructions and download 1 or both. as you know, you can have several versions of IL2:

It looks like just another compilation of mods.

BTW I still have problem about biscay map installation.
Can you type me step by step how to install it, please ?

The reason for wanting one of these compilations (HSFX or UP) is that most of the material in them has not only been collected in one compatible install, they have also been re-coded to .sfs format, which makes for a much faster loading, smoother playing game than was possible with UI.
Most players nowadays, both online and offline are using one or both of these packs as a starting point for that reason.
Adding new maps to these packs is not any harder than with UI, it just uses a slightly different method.

~S~ 311_Tjurma and every one else
I dl your Biscay Map and found it easy to install and load it in
FMB with no problems. After checking it out I found this map
a welcome addition. It gives us Bomber Groups a Map to
use for Bombing Missions on German Sub Pens. However
there is one thing I must point out to you and hope you can fix
this little problem. On RAF Harrowbeer air base in AO- 43.3
there are about three (3) trees in the middle of the runway.
The runway I think is running from Southeast to Northwest,
you will find the three (3) trees in the runway. Seeing this is
a beta map I thought I would bring this to your attendation
and hopefully you can fix the problem. I did check out the other
RAF Bases and did not find any more trees in the runway.
Just in RAF Harrowbeer (AO-43.3).
Other wise I really enjoy your map and have all ready started
to make a test bombing mission for the DBG to try out.
What to try a Historical Bombing mission of the 97th BG (H)
going agaisnt the Sub Pens.

Good Job on the Map.

Hi!
If you want to share pictures, i would recommed photobucket or other sites like that. If you use Mediafire, ppl must dl all the pictures to their HDD

I belive that someone will make campaigns for this map soon!
Cheers!

Hi.
One do not have to DL the file to watch it. Just click "View image" button belowe the DL button.
That will open a new window showing the image. Belowe the image your shown thumbnails to the rest of the images in that folder.
just click the tumbnail to enlarge it. Nice and easy.

Yes It looks like a few already have started ther campain building.
Would not be long for the first one to DL I believe.

Best Regards.
