I heard that the prototype was half built. I wonder if there where any photo's taken of it?

why i have not seen reqeusts for this is startelling, if this bomber and its fighter escort, the 229, would have been built, germany WOULD have nuked america in 1946 and completely won after repeated bombings of new york and other major cities.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda. But the Nazis didn't fortunately and would have been obliterated before they ever came close to perfecting The Bomb and a delivery system. Remember the U.S. did have both by 1945.
if they would have pumped more money into the production and took it out of the luftwaffe, they could have made a few, the luftwaffe was screwed anyway, why waste money on it?
How about reading some history?

Indeed
hm,
the poll could be misunderstood. I thinl it appears that if the result is there you would gonna make the plane. I think THIS is false. So its a request but seems like an offer. I am sorry but there is no need for a poll.
In fact, for new planes is a poll never needed (Beside some starwars - stuff, what was going on here time ago  ). WHo don
Morning lads,
mh, you're missing one crucial point: Germany was far away from having or even building an A-bomb.
On the other side - if Germany didn't surrender till August 1945 - the two A-bombs would fall on Germany! Targets already set!
Remember - "Germany first"!
Besides that - this pre B2 Bomber looks interesting
Jambo
My opinion, Germany made too many mistakes and got overmatched in too many areas during the war to say that one aircraft variant, or ship, or rocket, or whatever would have turned things around for them.
IL-2 wise, I'm interested in tech. that never got completed, but not real interested in flying aircraft that didn't actually get built.

interesting discussion, but the poll was needless and has been removed
Annoying the annoying, so you don't have to.
All the scientists didn't see much potential or progress at the time and so they began working on more logical projects to support the upcoming war.
