To my knowledge the un-modded 4.08 Dedicated Server will not support custom maps, so some bright individual here will have to figure out how to "crack it" if we want to use these new maps online. Once that is done, it should be easy to mod the 4.08 version to support 4.09b. If 4.09 never sees the light of day, then I see no reason to stay on 4.08, just because it is an "official release". Most of us here are not willing to settle for "the default", especially if you have to give up all the wonderful maps textures and objects that came with 4.09b.

Thinking of all you guys have have accomplished in the last six months, which was a big learning period, now I can only begin to imagine what the next six months might hold.
