Gloster-Whittle was a fighter, it had provisions for 4 x .303 Brownings.
He-280 was also a fighter.
Ikarus J-451MM was a fully equipped light attack aircraft.
These are no different than some of those already listed that didn't go beyond a handful of prototypes.
Gloster Wittle may have had room for guns but I'm sure with a few adjustments you could have a stuck 20mm cannon in the He-178.
Besides it's role was an experimental prototype, it was never intended for combat, it was a test bed for Englands First Jet Engine, why would they jump to conclusions after one flight and stick guns on it.
He-280 was indeed a fighter, that never got past the prototype stage.
I really think the titles of this topic would mean operational fighters, not prototypes that were never going to enter combat, and if they did, well they would be called something else and it would be a different plane with a different role.

OK i agree - but then why there are already such planes in list that never went past the prototype stage? What makes them different than these i listed?
(Namely the two Argentine jets - Pulqui I was just a single prototype, Pulqui II was one full-scale non flying mock-up and 4 flying prototypes; also French NC.1080 was just a single prototype, and of all the Mystere versions listed only Mystere IV was a production model - Mystere I and III were single prototypes, Mystere II total 6 prototypes in two sub-variants)

Maybe SAAB J-21R could fit in the list? First flew 1947. 64 examples built, in service as primarily an attack aircraft in the Swedish AIrforce between 1950 and 1956. Powered by a DH Goblin just like some of the Vampires and Meteors out there.
SAAB A-32 Lansen, as mentioned in the list, is borderline 2nd generation as it was high transonic and possessed an integrated radar/avionics suite. The same goes for other aircraft with similar specs. As it's hard, if not impossible, to simulate some of those things accurately in IL-2 it's fairly pointless to venture there.
