yes i know, i think it lacks the relevant icons. I've no idea how to rectify that except for changing the theme.

philip.ed, you did not see the first one that Moggy and I tried. It would have allowed the user to define his own background color according to the setting which he has in the Control Panel/ Personalize of his own computer. Not only that, but we need to see if a background image is possible with that first Test 1 configuration that philip.ed has not tried yet.

Do you guys see the great capability that I am expressing to you two guys? Listen up!

Where is this test? I mean the one I just tried looked good, apart from the black box for the submit buttons. The reason is that I think the message text colour (default) is applied to the user-buttons (like submit and preview) so changing it to black changes that text to black as well. Because the box was black, the text was invisible.

Moggy and I were testing the thing that I am emphasizing before you came to this topic today. It was the very first one that we were testing today.

I hear what you mean. But I do not know how to re-implement it. I am currently learning to do webpages and currently it's a "alter a variable, search for change, alter again and look for difference". I like the current theme, however certain buttons are blacked out.
I stumbled upon this thing that you mention by fluke and I've since lost it by fluke.

Why didn't you make a copy like I suggested? This is fundamental computer issue to make a copy. You had a great thing going and you lost it!
Honestly, you are rushing way to fast before getting input from others and you need to make copies so you do not lose a fantastic thing.

THAT'LL NEVER HAPPEN! , as far as I'm concerned. Hey, guys, we ALL need reminders. We need each other, reminders, help, give and take, and just other people in general. I did'nt mean to be too pushy, but some things must be remembered.

Actually i did, which is why I have not ballsed up the defaults.
On the other hand, if i saved after every minute change, I'd literally be on test 57 or so. Furthermore, this user defined background thing that you describe
is invisible to me. I cannot see it. All I see is a white background. I aim to try and fix this damned missing buttons issue and then I'll try and create a user defined background one as well, fireskull.

The absolute first Test 1 that we ran together allowed the User Defined Background.
My own Personalize color was displayed and was changable in my computer, which is ideal for an AAA member to use the color already set in his Control Panel / Personalize configuration.
Not only that, but the buttons looked great!
[EDIT: Remember the first one with the fantastic looking round buttons?]

Right, that'd be the 'jet' theme then. Good show. I'll keep that in mind. If only I could get the sodding text boxes to show with it.

Of course, you can all ways substitute, or swap, command lines.

i'm doing this from the admin panel. A series of boxes with space for hexadecimal input. I'm not prop'ly programming it or anything. As far as I can tell, there's no way to alter the colour of the drop down boxes and 'submit' / 'go' / 'preview' boxes which is hacking me off no end.

Fine. The ball is in your hands at the end of the day!
