We are not creating any new voids. There might be a little texture difference for the P-47C coming out, but not much.

The stock voids and skins will work with these new variants, P-47C, P-47D-11, P-47D-23 and D-40.

As for the prop texture, i have yet to find it. Get yourself the SFS extractor and start extracting. you will find it eventually.

Thanks Th!rdeye for the update.

My apologies to PeterD as his headrest texture had to be abandoned to try and correct a major discrepency with the pit. Poncho fixed the mesh problems yet again leaving the way for a fresh texture or mesh. The current texture will be just a smidge blurry compared to other textures.

Also many thanks to those who offered their help in fixing this issue. (I may need to take you up on your offer in the future. 8) )

Another WIP ingame screencap.

Taurus,

The new headrest looks great, good work. Big Grin

Last night I recolored the padding on the Mk8 sight to a grayish rubber color from the current leather brown color- to make it more historically correct. I thought it looked OK, but then I looked at the shots of RL P47 Mk8's you posted on p21. Leather Brown

ok...with all the other Jug threads we need to bump this up there with it too. How is the pit coming along poncho, taurus? Trust me this has not been forgotten.

Just a little in-progress salute to you guys for taking the time to work on this for the community.

Although I don't post in here very often now (ran out of fresh superlatives some time ago) I'd just like to say that a fair proportion of the thirty thousand+ views of this thread are mine.

Yo guys! Fantastic work! I've been in contact with poncho and he gave me a mission to repaint the gunsites, right now I'm working on the Mk VIII gunsight, here's some screenshots, if anyone needs more help with something PM me, Taurus, I remember you sent me some P47 textures to work on but I didn't want to touch them since you probably have come a long way since then, so i've been working on the D27 gunsite meanwhile for poncho.

here's some screens!

WOO-HOO! Almost there! Fantastic work guys! I'll be so happy to have a great pit for the Jug!

- Yeager - 25.08.2008

Man that looks amazing. Was flying the Jug online last night and thinking how much better it's going to be with a new pit.

Welcome Back FlushMeister,

Many thanks for helping us all out with the gunsight textures. Brilliant work as usual.

It seems a long time ago that I sent you those files so I imagine that there would be a few slight changes. It shouldn't be very long now before the basic Razorback pit is done.

Cheers,

Taurus.
