Hi Joe,

Just a little question: With the Unified Installer Version 1.1 comes the CAN_Channel which is the beta, so when you will release the final map, will you name it with the same name or something like CAN_Channel1940?

In that way, mission made on beta will still be playable.

Hi Conan.

Very simple answer. No mission made for the beta will be playable on the final version. The final version is a different size, has more airfields in different locations, and is for all practical purposes a completely different map.

So, basically, there's no point making the names the same, because the missions for the beta will never be playable.

Yes, that was my point, so if you name it with something like CAN_Channel1940, will be able to play beta missions on beta map and new missions in final map, and have both in our map file

I haven't posted an update for ages, but that's because I was busy with this - a complete set of proper English village houses, including 2 country churches, a pub, a village shop, a war memorial and even a country signpost.

This way flying over England in my map will really feel like flying over England

After studying the great screenshots, I have to ask: will the cows cast shadows?

If not, I fear then they are really vampire cows!

Hey just kidding- but I didn't see any cow shadows in the screens. Just not the right angle to see them?
