would it be possible to change the prop wash cylinder to a cone?

the prop wash seems too significant when alongside or in formation (30 degrees to the side and 3m below) another aircraft.

Other than that, its great.

technically yes. but
1) cone has more hard and diffical mathematic function
2)modulation by cone is incorrect, because axis of cone equal axis of another plane. in example, it will be very strange if another plane is turning

Note of a 'bug'....

If an aircraft (ours were non-AI, not sure about AI) is on an aircraft carrier, landing aircraft experience wake turbulence.
The aircraft on the deck doesn't have to be running and the carrier doesn't have to be moving.

If the aircraft on the deck is turned 90 degrees, the affect seems to go away.

Wow I use your mod3 and I must say this really makes much harder to fly.... In a mission in "Fire and Steel" I could hardly get my P47 off the ground. I was blown off the runway several times. Is it really so hard in reality? For a virtual flier like me it becomes almost impossible to fly in some of those campaigns?

Regarding AI, are they treated the same way in version mod3 or am I the only one blown around (noticed that those AI pilots got off the ground without a scratch Cry )?

In any case this is a great add-on to this game!

Cheers,

Eckhart

You mention cloudtype setting in the conf.ini file....
I have a TypeCloud setting...is that what you meant or is there another setting?

Also, the other mods you mention...I assume they are already in your mod?
Or do I have to install them separately?

No responses?

Isn't the axis of the cylinder also equal to the axis of another plane?

Is the diameter of the cylinder constant for all aircraft?
If so, shouldn't it vary by aircraft size? IE, shouldn't a Zero's cylinder be smaller in diameter than a B29's?

!st Q. typecloud is cloudtype

@nd Q the atmosphere mod sets parameters for turbulance in the clouds. but it has no cloud mod in it. if you want you can install cloud texture mods, thst is your choice .

So when you mentioned cloudtype you meant typecloud in the conf.ini file?
Not cloudtype in a .mis file, right?

Does the cylinder extend from the aircraft or from the engine?

IE, would a multiengine aircraft have a larger vortex area?

i come back and try answer for all questions. just give me please some time Smile
