semi-Atmosperemod release(off+online) wind,gust,waketurb etc

Hi,gent's

all test's are over, and i present semi-Atmospere mod release Smile
this mod try to simulate atmosphere in Il2.
this mode work on planes, bombs,rockets,bullets. but it dont work with smokes.
when i work, i consult with real pilots, and hope that my work can made il2 more realistic Smile

it add's this things:

wind depend's by altitude by special law:

wind velocity determine by this:

V = Vo * (H / Ho)^a

where: V0=speed at 10m;
H=altitude,where we seek speed velocity
a= 0.14

windgusts:
randome windgust's simply depends on altitude: gust=(1000-alt)/1000*gust at sea level
example: if gust at sea=20m/s,at 500m it will be 10m/s,and at 1000m gust=0m/s

there are turbulance and windgusts in clouds
it depends on type of weather and cloudtype

wake turbulance and prop wash tail
i modulate it by dinamic turbulance zone as a cylinder with 150m diametr, and 20m height,behind the plane at 170m. force of tail is depend by range.it work always(so you can test it on QMB)but note- in QMB windtop is about 1km

turbulance:
if you want, you can add turbulance from the sealevel till 450m( if turb> 5).

if turbulanse>=1 it plane will have small constast vibrations
from 0 to 10000m. IMHO it simulate vibrations of aircraft+any small turbulence.

thermal on summer maps till 10 to 16 o'clock above land(no above water)

and new big clouds with new texture
if you dont want this big clouds just delete file data.cld in effects/clouds folder.
if you want new cloud textures-just change *.tga files in semy folder.
( i used cloudmod's by FlushMeister and Rus_Andrey and modify it)

I stongly recommended use this mod FPS Boost for TypeClouds=1 http://allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/...hp?t=18289 by Onelifecrisis or by ZloyPetrushkO( i have done some modification of Onelifecrisis's mod)
it can get + 25% or more better FPS in bad weather!!
test 2 variants and choose 1 of them, what you like Smile

short discription how it work:
add this(example) into your mission file by notepad

[Weather]
WindVelocity 5
WindDirection 0
WindTop 7500
WindTurbulence 4
WindGust 3

if turb = 0 there is no turbulance.
turb=1-5 small turbulance. and turbulance in clouds
turb=6-12 turb from 0 till 450 alt and turb in clouds.

velocity is 0-70m\s, turbulance is 0-12, windgust is 0-25m\s. direction is 0-360. direction is meteorological.

if cloudtype=3 or higher in mission file, the clouds approximated to solid clouds. and there turb till cloudtop from cloudtop+2km alt.

note: if you are higher then windtop, there no any affects of this mod(in QMB windtop is about 1km)

!!!important:when you save the mission dont open mission ile by FMB!!!

in variant 2-3 there are great optimisation, so bot hasnt turbulance. because test show, that turb hasn't any affect to bots.

note: which clouds are on the server, so clouds are at players Wink
but use it very carefully,becase you can weather unflyible or ungameable!
i recommended start with my example, which i write upper the text.

installation: just copy this folder into mod folder. if you have older versions of wind mode or cloud mod or atmosphere mod please delete it

int this version bombers and dive bombers have bigger tail, then other planes; there no small vibrations during all flight.

In few words- for player wind dont depend of speed or Gears.onGround. Gusts are smooth now.This version i send to DT.
After updates, I think it is a great version of mod.
main theme of this mod is quality and stability work. i remove all elements, which has low quality; or have some suspicion about working.

Hi Mate!

It seem a great mods!

Can you upload the photo in a different site , I can't see them (it's looked in my country)!

If I understand right after the installation I need to disable all previous wind and cluod mods but I can change anyway the cloud type editing the tga (the 4x4tga one or all the tga files?) file into the semifolder with every kind of cloud texture I like?

yes, you are understand right: if you want other textures of clouds,just change necessary texture in folder(if you download any cloudtexture mode i recommend you to change all textures to new, don't confused textures of 2 mods). Textures in my mod is from FlushMeister cloud mod. i use this textures.because IMHO it optimized to online.

yes,it need you to delete old version of windmod and cloud mod. but then you can install cloud textures what you like Smile

thx too. Maybe you want to contact check6.fr. They can alter their il-manager to add these parameters to dgen-missions.
Are the gusts also effected in the clouds?

yes,gust and turbulance is in clouds if cloudtype>0

just want to tell you:
I think I have sometimes gamefreezes with your new mod. Not in every mission, not on a special map or campaign, not after a certain time, but it occured the first time yesterday - maybe it's only a coincidence. I will go back to wind-v4 and see if they occur there too.
Also the clouds are too big for me - sometimes they touch the ground - so I disabled them.
Anyway go on with your great work.

I tested on core duo 1.6ghz, ATI radeon X1300 mobile, 1GB ramm. i havent any freezes,but there are about only 5-10 simple mode in my computer Smile
Ofcourse, you can use any version, that you like Smile

now i have some works for this theme. it is very difficult. now i have some test versions, but they are very unstbility and have many bugs.
i downt now, will i finished this work or not,because it isn't very great changes in gameplay, but is difficult and have bugs.

why you were deleted authors of some modes, which i use in my mode?
maybe delete only urls, but not authors?
