I love the texturing you did for the buildings, absolute top stuff.

So I still think that the ground textures ruin the whole thing.

Well, sorry about that. It's so that the cities look good from altitude, and still work when you get down low and the 3D objects become visible. I think it's a good trade-off.


I'll be releasing the Spit skin soon too, once I've finished refurbishing my site.

The ground textures are fine.. we are meant to be enjoying maximum time actualy 'flying', not poodling around on the ground...

When I built these objects, I had poly count, texture size and texture sharing firmly in mind, so big cities and almost no FPS hit.

I'll post better pics when London is fully done.

Been working hard today on the Docklands area of London - a key target for the Luftwaffe so one I wanted to get right. I'm really pleased with the result, and still perfectly smooth over it.
