Username Wrote:Captain F - you could have a job for life with this mod. As someone else said, it's only a small thing, but it makes a big difference in still shots and one's overall appreciation of airfield scenes.

I know Luftwaffe types are your main interest, but this mod could obviously be extended to cover other airforces (e.g RAF types - plain aluminium colour for early Spit and Hurri hubs, Interior Green for Spit Mks Vc, VIII & IX).

I don't know all the colour permutations, hub styles and tread patterns for US and Japanese aircraft, but others here probably do. If you don't have the time for this (and it does sound like a lot of work), maybe some other interested party would pick up the cudgel?

I don't have time to expand, sorry, some aircraft have their tires skinnable, like the Hurricane. Regardless of that, my references and knowledge have allowed me to do this mod quickly as I knew most of the stuff before and had tiretextures ready from my profilework. If I hadn't had that it would have been a whole different matter, and that's the way it is with other aircraft, I don't have much previous knowledge, few references and nothin drawn up.

Someone else might though... Smile

Many thanks Cujo, but the skin that you have, not in "Flying-legends", there is a worse version.

The skin that comes into your capture are here http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/joseangelsasasa/skinsme-109f.htm

It's called "Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6" 14 negro" 8./JG 1, Febrero 1944, Detmold Alemania"

I was looking for, and I found him this morning.

Thanks anyway
