It would be great to have some civilians too. No! I don't want to shoot them but.... for immersion.
If somebody could figure out how those running pilots are animated, then we might have running soldiers too. I wish i could do it...
I can model a bit, but i really dont ha ve the time to figure how to import 3d models to IL2 engine. Its like hebrew too me!

Can someone do an Elvis Presley?

to bring them into other positions is a good think. A mechanic working at a plane and so on. We also could make civilians. A farmer staying at his cows and sheeps. Farmers working on the field. Workers with hammers, spade or fork. Nurses, brewery workers, civilians of all kind. It really goes into the direction model railway

 I'm trying to get this result...
There is a way to animate these models in 3ds Max with a skeleton object that you put carefully in the mesh... if well placed, this object calculates all distorsions of mesh when you move it...
But this is very difficult to place it... at least for me... and until now, I had no luck...
They use the same way in TOW2... but the file with coordinates of skeleton is in a different format than used in 3ds MAX and I don't know how to transform...
Help! - Vmax - 06.05.2009
Hello Pilots,
I have a problem. I wanted to install the Infantry Mod but wasn't able to find
the static.ini at all.
I searched for it with windows search function and manually. no luck. :?
Is it coming with a certain mod, or is it only availlable with UI?
I don't have UI because of it's size and my poor web connection.
Any Help welcome!
greets,
Vmax

yes, load your map of choice and click on view at the top, then where it says aircraft click on the arrow looking thing at the side and scroll down the drop down list to objects and click on it.Then scroll through the objects to find them.
I entered the Egypt static.ini info to the end of my static.ini so the Egypt objects are at the end of my objects list.
Easy

this mode doesn't replace old objects .... it adds new ones so you need to edit your mission by adding/replacing wanted objects

they don't die.... when i crash it, nothing happens to them. when tanks run over them, it just goes straight through like ghosts. i guess no damage model of dead people.
