Howdy,
I hope everything is sound and well with you chap
Cannon's map seems like a dream come true, then again I believe that is expected from him since his skins already proved his attention to details
.
I was wondering if in your next release of Mission Mate+ you will also support the maps installed by the unified installer ( thread:
(The link is inoperative) ).
With some luck the brilliant chaps (you know who you are
) that created the pack are planning for the next version and that will include some of the precious things that are currently WIP (let's see, many many huge maps, check, quad engine tommy bombers, check, etc)
Thanks everyone to make IL-2 such a champ
Cheers!

Thank you very much for your Mission Mate.
I downloaded MM recently and have been using it to create missions for the QMB+
I have this huge profect I'm doing for it.
Your program has saved such an enormous amount of time for me,and was so easy to use.
It don't like what your doing... it will argue with you... lol , No....you must attach an attack set point...
No...your enemy flight has no waypoints..... lol
very easy to use an makes a remarkable mission due to all the parameters you can set.
You can't go wrong it all works so well, absolutely awesome!
Just wanted to say Thanks Man

Hi mate, yes there is some really nice stuff alright! 8)
I was holding back to some extent for Cannon's channel map, but have now decided to move on regardless.

I did have a break and waited Canon's map too, but it was delayed due more important things. I dig my once abandoned small map of Viipuri for starter...
But ihave been asked to populate some big maps too.
map scale - Henry_Shrapnel - 20.05.2009
Is there any way to find out if the maps are made to the full scale of the game without having to download them first? I don't want to waist time downloading maps that are not correctly scaled.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question. :? Have you found maps that are not correctly scaled?

I think you mean are they to 1:1 ground scale or are they to a reduced scale.
If you read through the thread for each map it will normally say if a reduced scale has been adopted. If it doesn't then it is safe to say that it is at 1:1
--- but don't write off the reduced scale maps. They are great for playability if you don't have time for long approach flights. A prime example of this is Canons Channel 1940 map, still only Beta but being well used online. viewtopic.php?p=62174#62174

Thanks for asking.
Well firstly I have included the easy map additions such as:
Ardennes winter,
seasonal Normandy with British airbase (January and March) and
Norway winter.
All completed and fully functional. I love the new textures with these, just beatiful!
Darwin map.
Completed and fully functional.
Sakishima map. Near completion (with variable army airbase occupation)
More to come possibly but I may decide to release sooner and add additional maps afterward. Maps are the time consuming beast with MM.
New aircraft so far:
Seafire MKII Merlin-45 & 50
Spitfire MKVC & MKVIII
Spitfire XII
Spitfire XIVc & XIVe
FW 190 A3
That's it so far.
FYI, I had lost almost all motivation in recent months because my PC had become so old that I just couldn't enjoy the whole IL-2 thing anymore. Last month the old girl passed her last breath forcing me to upgrade. What a difference this whole IL-2 mod thing is with a new machine!! Certainly jump started my interest again.
Oops, I almost forgot, I have implemented a new feature that will allow the user to add non flyable mods to the MM flyable list. That is to say, formal IL-2 AI aircraft with pit mods will be user nominated and will appear in the MM flyable list along with all the formally listed flyables. This allows me to stay neutral to this facet of the mods while allowing you guys the choice of adding these mods as you choose. I will admit to enjoying having the P36 and BF110C4 added casually to my flyable list!!
Cheers, CrazySchmidt.

Dear Crazy....
As always many thanks for your continuing efforts! May I ask if there is going to be a new patch or download to make it possible to use these new add-ons...or are they in some way automatic with the last updates?
I'm trying to get to convert all my Ju-87G missions ti Hs-129s and not finding it possible....
