If that can be used on any other aircraft, then the game is destroyed online, as it will remove any aspect of realism from the FISC community just by sheer presence and possibility of using it.

I would not trust anyone that I don't know not to use it, and I know that a lot of you feel the same way. After all, if one can do it, then everyone can...

I think that this is spiralling out of control and it's headed straight toward CFS... Sad

i think that as long as we stay out of "space/ starwars " stuff we will be fine just think about it if we get modern fighters this will be the only acurate combat flight sim that has all of the great aviation eras "ww1 ww2 korea and modern da" now i would never fly this online i would only be for off line use

That is VERY interesting view point ... because I was always under the impression this was an online community and we had completely gone away from offline modding (ironically which is why THIS site took off in the first place). Isn't SAS supposed to be the offline community? And aren't they even downplayed to some extent because of some of their "MODS," like opening canopies or accurate TBF Avenger ... or accurate FM's for AI made flyable planes?

Not trying to poke you with a stick or anything ... just made me curious. And please forgive my sarcasm ... not in the best of moods ATM.

no no thats fine but just because this is an online community doent meen we cant have planes for just offline and personaly i am a very big online player

To be honest, having people brand mod packs as aimed at one thing or another seems a bit weird anyhow. People's assertions that HSFX was not for online. Yes, it may have been made with a different purpose in mind, but the way some people spoke of it, you'd think it was of no use for online play. Clearly that's not right.

With regards to SAS, it even publishes buttons for online flying now.

I have HSFX, it isn't sas published, so am I not allowed to fly offline? Funny that, I never fly online.

After flying one, everything else in the game looks so hopelessly slow Big Grin

The only small issue with a modern jet fighter is with regards to playing online. And if a server blocks that plane or something then there should be no troubles?

I really don't see the problem with a mod like this. There's only the principle that AAA gets laughed at for allowing such a mod, but then I look at the kubelwagon thing that started at SAS. It's a cool mod, but IMHO slightly unneccesary (unless used when movie making)

- Guest - 22.02.2010

Have you got animations working on your model, like Landing Gear and flaps?

- Guest - 22.02.2010

Phillip, there is still a lot to do on this model Wink....Scharnhorst,no landing gears yet but all control surfaces and canopy are animated...

I know lads, let's see if we can get another angry mob up against ensign ro this time around! Sure, he's a well known figure in this place, and a respected modder instead of a nom de guerre but I'd hate to be inconsistent in the lynch mobs we stirr up...

For those morons who are going to take me seriously, I was in fact giving the sarcasm muscles exercise....

But seriously, looking awesome, would love to be able to fly that baby!
