Damn stinger on the Betty. Luckily Renard was within gliding range from 27,000 feet.

I love "dead stick" landings, really challenging especially in the more sensitive fighters
Question, is it me or are those runways really "bright"?
- VFS-214_Hawk - 19.03.2008
As bright as the white coral they are....well some of them! Some guys said they could be seen with ease at night!
- ex_RAAF_Elecfitter - 19.03.2008
yeah thats quite possible to, especially on a bright moon night

Koli point (Carney Field) (wartime image)
Ballale, 1971:
It's tough, sometimes they seem too dark, sometimes too light. Rain matters, too. In RL if they were wet they'd look darker. Some fields if disused for a short while quickly started greening up.

BTW, one issue (that I'm thinking of making a mod to correct) is that the draw distance of the airfield ground plates is considerably farther than the other terrain LOD changes. So in that image at Renard/Sunlight, the ground plates pop more than they do with the higher LOD terrain features (visible in the foreground).
In some cases there are dispersal areas very close to layered forests, and in others, the dispersal "roads" actually go UNDER the forest. Since the forest draws only a single layer,
on the ground at far distances, the ground plates sit on top.
I can change the draw distances so that the forest will overwrite the ground plates are longer ranges, but I need to test it.

Give credit to the man who posted the screenshot. I had nothing to do with that.

I cannot say anything else, you should contact him if you want to know something more.
Maraz
Where can i find this Rnzoli please, i am very intersted in a solution, having the same problem
Rnzoli says that as soon as there is a solution for 32+ player COOP missions you can get il2.exe which is resistant to memory leaks
don't shoot the messenger
