Wonderful scenario, unfortunately, I don’t know how to do it. If someone can do it, I wouldn’t mind. That’s why it is map of unexplored Pacific islands, it was easiest to do

OK, I'll try to modify it with help from agracier and lowfighter (when he returns from Israel and fixes his PC
).
I'll keep you posted with the progress.

Can you use this extraordinary wonderful paradise with UP2.0 too?
I tried to install it in mods folder, create an all.ini file etc but to no avail...
also tried to load it by putting it in JSGMEmods folder. :-? don't get it
to work.
Man, I'd like to spent some time there.
Avala, greeeeeeeeaaaaaaaat work!
***Edit... I've found it out myself just a few minutes back
sorry for being desperate guys...
Happy flying all!

I had a bit of a time getting this map installed too, but not because of UP2.0 or anything. But simply because it installed under the map Coral Islands, even though I followed the procedure for installing a new map with name Benghali Island. I was a bit surprised, but happy after all.
So, install it in your ...MODS/mapmods/maps/... folder as usual, add an entry to your all.ini as usual (for Benghali_Island) and then try starting up your Coral Islands map and see what happens.

I just think this map is a blast. I think I am going to break my personal rule about historical campaign building and do a campaign for this. It will be as fun as the map. Stay tuned.

I couldn’t agree more. Can’t wait for campaign, especially if it is something like comic-inspired, seaplanes and pirate’s junk boats . . . . .
(Just one inspirational idea
)

We are thinking along the same lines; you won't be disappointed.

I think i get the "Islands look" very good. Just saw this image and resembles me on Benghalli map

I love this map. It's absolutely great! Thanks, Avala.
I'm having a small problem with it, though. I can build missions with it just fine, but if I add a static camera to the mission, it won't save or play out of the FMB. If I remove the static cameras, everything is fine again...I can save and run the mission. Has anyone else experienced this or know what might be causing the problem? Thanks.
- vonofterdingen - 15.01.2010
I have about 6 missions done, all with static camera(s) and have not seen this problem.
- Guest - 15.01.2010
I have just built small test mission and it works OK with static camera. Don't have a clue what that might be, sorry :-?
- MrMoonlight - 16.01.2010
OK, thanks for the replies, Gents. I'll play around a little and see if I can get things working with the static cameras. I just thought maybe someone else had run into this issue before and had a patent fix for it. I'll let you know if I find a solution in case someone else runs into the same problem.
- MrMoonlight - 18.01.2010
OK, I figured out what was wrong with the static cameras on this map and got it fixed. It turns out that for two objects used in the map, their corresponding entries in the static.ini file were no longer there. So these objects weren't loading with the map. And problems with saving missions is a symptom of objects missing in a map. I guess what threw me a bit was that missions always saved just fine in every other situation except when static cameras were placed in them.
I don't know how the entries could've disappeared out of the static.ini, but everything's back to normal now. I just thought I'd post this here in case anyone else runs into a similar problem.
Avala, you did a great job with this map. I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

This map is pure eye candy. I cant believe no-one commented on my favorite hero the The Phantom flying the flying boat in the youtube on the first page, obvious to us Aussies tho.
Tell me Avala, where is skull mountain, I couldnt find it
And ive worked on all those F-111s in that pic, brings back fond memories
