Creating Buildings is A walk in the park....
I'm not sure, considering the time spent to release Hangar mod, Egypt mod, Canon's objects, it's not one or two objects to design...
Mapwork is to be done also to fit actual period...
Vehicles is a lot of work everything is to be done, to replace old WWII items by modern ones used by NATO countries.
All AA and AG weapons as to be created.
Actual ships need to be created, especially AC, if you consider naval scenarios.
All AA artillery is to be reworked totally,to create real threats incountered on the sky today (AA missiles behaviour for example).
As everybody here as a real life, to release a mod whatever it is, take a long time, so it will take years to have these birds flying in a space dedicated to them.
I would be delighted if all of this could be done in the next coming months, but "The nicest women in the world can give only what she gots"

Dunois, your points noted and agreed with - my only issue is that you've purposefully selected only half of what i said - i did NOT say it's a walk in the park, i said COMPARED to the work involved in making the planes, it's a walk in the park.
you can't only want to quote a selected piece to make it sound very different from what i actually said. that's completely defeating the object of quoting....no?
and considering i helped Canon with his map, i do know the difference in the amount of work involved....i'm not speaking from my butt, so to speak.

Clearly, m8 this thread's gone too out of hand. We are stil debating whether to allow this or not, as if you plan on expanding this then we won't allow it here. Make your own forum, that would be wiser.

Looky, I'm not going to lie, this has caused a stir, and a review of certain aspects of the site's running.
But, I should like to make it clear that currently, AAA's policy does NOT prevent modders from exhibiting work like this; as things stand this wip is positively welcome here. As this was originally posted as a wip, I'm going to move it back to that area for now.
What I will do is re-open the old thread with the poll in, but dock the poll from it and, when i've a spare minute, go about cleaning the thread. You chaps
can discuss it there, so long as there's actual
discussion this time around.

Pointing fingers and guessing gets you nowhere my friend, I didn't touch this thread. If I was a temperamental person and couldn't control myself I'd just simply delete it, but I'm not like that, and therefore I retain my position as moderator. Sorry.
Could you send me a PM and enlighten me as to why you're have this personal vendetta against me?
Cheers

Hope to see some updates on the Mig 21, from what i have seen from this thread RO, your work looks awesome and i wish you all the best on bringing this project to the Game. Only hope some one can mod an Allied aircraft that will give the Mig some competition, in air to air combat. My hats off to you for pushing the envelope and going beyond to create new possibilities for all who fly the Mods. ~S

1st i heard some where that IL2 cant handle the speeds and the flying charicteristics of modern fighters
It can

It's a flight simulator...what's wrong with having these planes in it?
Go get LOMAC if you want modern planes, boy. No reason to make modern planes in.
Then get a WWI game to fly WWI planes, boy.
There are no rules on this forum that holds anyone from making modern planes here, and you're acting like an ass to him only because it's YOU who don't want modern planes.
Most people would like to get something fresh.

Bud you are talking hot air, look at the poll how many wish to see modern Jet fighters in this sim and then think again what you wrote?
Yeah some really would like IL2 to go the cfs way flying ion marshmellows against death stars........oh well you can wish for the moon if you get it is a totally differant story.
