I AM IMPRESSED!
I just took an overview of this map in the FMB and I must say it is fantastic!
The Tripoli harbor is a work of art. The attention to detail is simply awesome.
And that detail extends to the rest of the map.
A rail line that not only makes sense but is creative. The rail yard in Capuzzo is a work of genius!
The textures are marvelous and seamlessly integrate at the Southern edge of the map into the Sea of Sand.

Everything makes sense.

This is the best desert map to date and shows that you put a lot of effort into making this a First Quality map.

I now have a new benchmark to strive for in my mapmaking.

Download the map.
Do it now!
You won't be disappointed.

(the .pdf file is quite interesting. i bet it would be even more interesting.....if I could read French better! and to think I was fluent as a 3rd grader!) Tongue

Ooooooooooo, thank you m8 8)

- JV69_BADA - 12.08.2008

Thanks Big Grin

Boris: for the PDF, it very easy,
a little bla-bla at the begin with thanks to other people
and a warnign that the aera south of bir hackheim is modified to suite alternative scenarios.

then when it comes to the airfields:
-you have the length (longueur) of the airfield (approximative)
-the width of the usable runway (largeur) (approximative)
-runway partially delimited of not with objects (better view for take off)
-the direction of the runway and runway start position for the pilot (in degrees)
-how many parking-start positions.

and a little warning for the airfield of Darnah, simply try to avoid the landing of ia's from the east, the ia don't like the mountain on the left side

and i think it's all. Big Grin

Next long time project: from Solum to cairo... el alamhein battle.
done the map_c and H yesterday : 550km length Confusedhock:

Thanks BADA. It's one hella map. Looking forward to your next offering. Soon you will have the entire African/Mediterranean coast done.

("i wonder what it would take to make a Gibraltar map?" Boris mused)

Good work, Bada.

Not to steal any thunder or anything, but Egypt will be covered in my MTO map that I'm currently working on.

viewtopic.php?t=6691

Of course, I'm not saying that Bada shouldn't cover the same area, just mentioning that another version will exist.
