Spit Vc Pit

The Vc's cockpit should stay.. The view is wrong, not the cockpit.

According to Oleg there is a problem in the 3D model and if the pit is moved it leaves gaping holes in the model (so they say).

I' d like somone to have a go and settle this ounce and for all.

So why not take the fuselage of the Spit Vb and put it on the Vc with the Vc's cockpit?
Or would there be gaping holes in the wings?
I can live without the sand filter.

There's two different models used with the spits. The Spitfires Vb and IX use one layout. The Spitfire Vc, VIII and Seafires use the other. You can't change parts between the two types. I think we're getting ahead of ourselves though. I think we need to ask (nicely  ) for one of the experienced mods to lower the cockpit and see if we do get any problems and what they are. Then we can try and fix them by taking pieces of the Seafire and Spitfire MkVIII if neccessary...

This request is very very very old now. If during a such long time nobody made a mod to correct it, that's mean it's impossible, no?

I'm hoping it is possible and it's just a case that nobody has got round to trying it yet. I'd really like to see this mod happen, especially with the possiblity of having a proper Malta map in the future.
