As you can see , we are making new planes with parts of other planes for missing WW II fighters and bombers in game.
So i was thinking if we can make WW I planes . I know its a bit strange but its an :?

Yes, maybe it'd be a good idea, but you must remember the too different FMs... All biplane fighters in game have, for example, at least twice the speed of a WW1 one... :wink:

Hmmm, I think that both the P11 and Cr42 would whup the tar out of any WWI aircraft. Those CR42's are psycho.... "Take it to warp 5 Scotty, theres Klingons off the starboard bow!"

I think the closest thing to a WWI plane is the U2 (as 109 has already said)

well, the U2 has no front firing m/guns, so the only way of doing this without changing F/M's, just the external shape of the aircraft, would still be by using the P11 & Cr42. The U2 would be good as a bomber but not a fighter.

Many WWI aircraft didn't have front firing guns. If we could get the rear gun to rotate through 360 degrees we would have a great deal of early fighters right there. But that might count as weapon modding, and is therefore bad.

There werent any plane of WW I with guns in wings i think , there were only 1 or rarely 2 machine guns over the engine ( not inside as the I-163)
