I believe Mr Jolly looked into this when the K-14's were being done for the Spit and '47, but it was decided that it wasnt historically accurate enough (something about not finding enough historical evidence) and those that were put in, were so few in numbers; and only field mods... (unless I'm getting my wires crossed with the earlier mustangs...?)
