I need your help
#1

Yesterday, I suffered a terrible accident on my PC, I had to format my computer, and with it, I lost all the information simulator, I lost all my Skins(Thousands), all campaigns(Dozens), and of course, all that had MODs Cry Cry Cry .

I do not have copies on CDs, the only information that I had on the hard drive, so now I have nothing at all, only the original game.
I can not explain in words how I feel, the work of collecting information, after 4 years is totally lost.
Just thinking that now, I have to download all of these things, one by one, I sincerely desire to die...

So I want to make a request to this community, a desperate cry for help, If you are very kind, anyone who wants to help can send through Megaupload, Rapidshare or similar, Skins collections and missions, please

Is deeply grateful to those who help me to overcome this tremendous problem, Is it too much to ask, but I hope you understand my situation.

Thanks in advance.

Very sad greetings

Sorry to hear that :!:

1st before you do anything else I suggest you try File Scavenger v3.2 It's a data recovery software that helped me out in the past.

If need be I'd be happy to help out, I have a huge amount of stuff in it's original downloaded state, skins, skin templates mission, campaigns and a whole lot more...

Sent me your Personal E-mail to my e-mail. I was planning for a Back-up Il-2 Modded Folder for downloading for people that had serious trouble.

I got more than 1000+ skins, so just PM me.

I advice a EXTERNAL HARD DISK. Like i have. Well enough to but all my skins in
Seriously. It is not that expensive and does not get cleaned after a computer crash. All my IL-2 files are on it.

I had thought about buying one, but 2 months ago, renew my computer, a new graphics card, the new Micro, a new motherboard, new RAM, nearly 1000 euros, so now not taken too much money for more hardware Cry

you can just get a 100GB HDD for only 40-60 euros, but if you want to take the risk of the computer crash, your decision

I think that's kind of hard, sort of like telling the guy who got hit by a bus he should not have crossed the road...no?

If you want to help this guy do so, but there is no need to make him feel worse than he already does by offering such wisdom Try putting yourself in this fellows position before shooting him with your keyboard.

@ BERSERKER even with help from people your bound to be doing quite a lot of re-downloading of stuff. If your using Firefox a handy add-on is "Flash got" http://flashgot.net/ If your on a page full of skins or mission and you want to download all of them just right click on one and select "flashgot all" and away it goes Big Grin A real time saver.
