We had a fairly interesting discussion going on with ref. to trails of black smoke left by airplanes engaging WEP boost. Maybe a possible graphic mod in the making if anyone was eventually interested.
The topic seems to have disappeared somehow... Was it removed or has my pc gone banana again?

The topic also touched on gun smoke. Was that the problem? I thought I had made it pretty clear a couple of times in the discussion that we were not interested if it meant tweaking anything else than graphics for the guns. I assumed that all mods need to go through AAA prior to posting, no?

If I have broken a golden rule, let me know which one was it. Anyway, apologies if I wronged anyone. Nothing malicious, believe me. Got better things to do than cheating on a flight sim.
I wish moderators could have first kindly dropped a "nay nay" note instead of simply closing down the topic if this is what happened indeed.

Can the topic be re-opened on WEP smoke as it seemed to be a fairly good idea? By now, the fellows who posted constructive comments won't bother anymore I assume. Pity.

These were the options at hand :

1. First contact --> ask for permission --> authorization --> proceeding with mod, if any --> AAA
2. First contact --> ask for permission --> denied --> moving along to something else

I needed to get in touch with you (but no idea who you were) via the thread prior to asking for authorization... Nothing more.
