I have a special request for the talented people here at AAA!
I've always felt that the explosion sounds in IL-2 were a bit..."soft". The only time I was ever surprised by an explosion (in a sim), was while playin' the game 'B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th', as the sound of AA exploding around my cockpit was LOUD! Even the sound of a 109 slammin' into a B-17, or an aircraft exploding in midair was enough to shake me up!
So, what I'm askin' for, specifically, is for someone to replicate the explosion sounds from 'B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th', or at least, replace the "oops, I dropped a jar of pennies!" explosion sounds from IL-2. I suppose I could extract those sounds myself, but I would have to find/reinstall the game and all that jazz, and I just don't have any time for that right now.
Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any response to this request, and thank you in advance!
And, as an introduction from myself, here's some screenshot art, which include many of the mods found here at AAA:
