I just downloaded and flew the excellent Normandy '44 map,but the more realistic looking the maps get,the more the villages with their "sand" roads and red rooftops look like something out of the Settlers,they just dont look realistic compared to the terrain i think....
it a simple matter to load the texture into Photoshop and selectively change some of the colours which you do not like :wink:
I know next to nothing about how to do that, so forgive me this question - Where do I find the texture files for the villages and towns and how hard are they to open (ie - do I need to d/l any modding tools from this site). My problem isn't so much with the color of the roads as it is with the rediculous bilding roofs painted on the ground. It's a real emersion killer for me. Thanks Fred.
