I'm new to FMB and learned one thing.

After you make a new mission on a map and then save it to the folder, e.g. Net/Dogfight or Net/Coop, it won't work.

Why ? FMB doesn't make a new folder for you.

After you exit the game and go to the folder (Net/whatever) you saved it in, you'll find the two files .mis and .properties files weren't put in a folder but are just two individual files sitting there.

Soooo, you got to make a new folder with the name of your mission first.

Or just find those two files, make new folder, cut and paste them in the new folder.

All will be well after that.

Again, FMB doesn't make a new folder for you for a new mission.

Hope this helps.

Learned it the hard way.

Trust me.

You've got to save the mission into a folder; within either Single, Net, or Campaign.

Where do you think its being saved to ? ?

There is no folder called "saved missions" or "missions saved".

That's why nothing is happening.

Trust me.

That's why you can't save your missions.

KC is right - you must save missions into a sub folder in one of the 12 nationality folders under either Campaign, Net or Single in the Missions directory. I presume your test mission is an offline single mission, so it needs to go into a created sub-folder under Single. The created subfolders that come with the game are named after some of the a/c types for the different nations. I save my mission under a/c type, and simply manually create new folders for different types as I need them. For example: you create a single mission flying the Me410. If you're flying for Germany, the mission will go into Missions/Single/DE - and since there's no default folder for the Me410 in the DE folder, you simply create and name one and save your mission into that folder (you should do this before you go into the game to create and save the mission).

Hope this helps
