Hi folks,
sry for my kinf of noobish question but it seems that i am as blind as one must be for not beeing able to find the solution within the threads of an actual tidied forum.
I tried to install e.g. the soundmod (what i suppose to need for a map like Alpen on 4.09) on 4.09 but all i got was a freeze at 95% at game startup or the game crashed, i think this is due to the subtitution of the files.sfs...as the 4.09 one is about 1mb bigger.
Long message short sense...where can i find a thread that links me through the install of mods in 4.09 like the"soundmod and his friends".

Is the unified installer already worked out for the 4.09 modded version?
Cheerz for ya answers so far....the modding topic to il2 is actually easy , at least how to install as there are always "readmes" but concerning 4.09 i was a bit confused.
Will check it right now and report .

Install the Unified installer and follow it word for word and you will have no probs :wink:
