If I can get points for shooting down an unarmed C47, why can't I get points for shooting down a V1 bomb? Mod possible?

I think you will find that the skill involved in shooting down these "flying bombs" or "Doodle Bugs" was both recognised and rewarded by the RAF. These were the fore runners of the cruise missile. So, bearing in mind that this is not just a simple gravity propelled projectile, I agree that it should count as a "kill".

Renown for shooting down a V1 is histrical correct so a mod that allow this is needed!!!

Anything with an engine and wings that flies should qualify for points :wink:

The only problem I see is if you manage to only damage it a little, and it proceeds to hit the target (say a factory) it was intended to hit. That would count as a fail in my books, but the game would still count it as a kill...

But otherwise a very good idea! :wink:

Sorry I did not mean to sound so "tetchy" in my reply to your post, so please excuse me if I sounded rude.

I think this is an area open for debate and I would love to see a mod to award points for a "Kill".

If you shoot down a bomber that lands on its intended target and destroys it you still get the points don't you !
