I have just installed the Italy/greece map and now when i load the "Channel" or "MTO" map it fails due to an error. I tried re-installing the channel map but no difference.
Any idea please.

Have you over written the all.ini file?

If so the entries for the two missing maps may have been removed?
Do Channel and MTO appear in the drop down menu in FMB.
If not then all.ini is the problem.

Yes they appear in both QMB and FMB just won't load.
I am running 4.08.

Another stupid question. Where do can I find the 4.09 patch. I have found the 4.09 server one on this site. Is it the same?

Now I have 4.09 installed the sim only loads to 95% then stops!

Any ideas?

Probably you installed the official V4.09b. But you should have installed the modded version: V4.09b1m.

A suggestion would be to uninstall 1946, install again, patch up to v4.08 and than V4.09b1m.

Maybe there is a quicker solution, but I am not a PC specialist. :wink:

Or better yet, uninstall/reinstall Il2 46 4.08 and install the Unified Installer 1.1- this will give you all the maps, plus the ability to switch between game versions.

I downloaded 4.09 and when I bring up the mission editor white text that looks like error codes apear. Can someone tell me what to to about this?
