Bought the yoke system and a throttle quadrant so that I now have 6 throttles to program for multi engine aircarft in IL2. Works great in FSX.
The problem is that all the throttles accept the one I map in the hotas seem to work in reverse when your in game. Up is 0 thrust and down is 100 % thrust. It obviosly is not very realistic.
If I go int0 the HOTAS setup in game, I can assign one of the 6 throttles to the power and that one will work fine, but the otheres will still be reversed as described above. If I dont map any then all are reversed.
I have created a profile for 2 and 4 engine aircraft in the SST progamming.
I am working on the 2 engine first. I want throttle 1 &2 to be for power, 3 and four to be for Prop Pitch, and 5 and six to be for Mixture.
Is This Not Possible?
I set the Z access (Throttle 1) to power in the Hotas in game. I set the Z access in the SST progam to Directional and programed the plus side with a macro in advanced command to select engine 1 and increase throttle, which looks like this (alt1+) and the minus side to decrease throttle (alt1-). I then programed the second throttle to select engine 2 and increase throttle (alt2+) and so on. The first throttle will work properly but the second works in reverse.
Has anyone figured out how to program multi engine aircraft in IL2 successfully with the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke system? Let me know.
