You must set the drop altitude with bombsight controls...it is the same setting used for setting bombsight altitude in heavy bombers. FYI - the auto drop only works when divebrakes are engaged.

go to your bombsight controls and set controls for bombsight altitude increase/decrease

You have to map keys for bombsight adjustment and then use the key that adjusts the bombsight altitude to set the altitude of when the bomb is automatically released. If you set bombsight altitude to 100m then the bomb will auto release at 100m unless you manually release it first (which you better because if you are still diving at 100m you will nose straight into the ground).

Not necessarily with the dive break on you are automatically pulled out at an astounding rate you may just make it if u have bomb delay

To expound upon what you've already been told, since it's about 75% correct/complete.....

In the JU87 and JU88, you need to set a control for bombsight altitude raise and lower. So two keys.
While on the way to the trgt, set the bombsight altitude to the altitude you want the bomb to release at. Some people make this kind of high, some make it the minimum safe pull-out alt.

On the way to the trgt, ensure you climb to at least 1500m above the altitude you set. This will give you time to get the bombsight on the trgt.

Watch thru the floorboard on approach, when the trgt is in the floorboard, hit the dive break (siren will sound and plane will nose over).

***** bombs will only auto release if the airbrake is on.

As you dive in, keep an eye on your slip indicator and use appropriate rudder.

Once you have the pipper on the trgt and the drop cue creeps up to the appropriate location you can drop your bombs manually or continue in the dive and let the bombs drop automatically at the altitude you selected.

Once the bombs are released the plane will pull up SHARPLY by its self. When you can see the horizon in front of you again, release the airbrake and watch the show.

That's all there is to it.
