Skinning/texturing help needed...
#1

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask, and if it is inappropriate, it's ok to remove the thread... But, I originally posted a similar request in Spray n' Pray. However, there hasn't been much activity in there, so I'm hoping more folks can see this...

Some good friends of mine and I are working on a new WWII sim, based in the North African theater. This first edition is going to be freeware, but we've got more ambitious plans after this. I'm not going to go into great detail here about it, but we really need some additional help, primarily with skinning our model meshes. We need good skins for rifles, SMGs, artillery pieces, tanks, etc. There will also be aircraft added to the game in a later patch.

This is NOT a joke, and we are seriously pursuing this. We've got a pretty small team of skilled folks, but a "pro" skinner could make this much better. If you'd like to know more about it, please pm me, and I'll tell you whatever you need to know!

Thanks!

P.S.- Even modelers, programmers, and anyone can help if you want! Extra helpers never hurts!

Well, we've got a good bit of our 3D work done. Got some beautiful Panzer models, some of our rifles, pistols, and SMGs too. I've got a few source files done as code inserts to handle different elements of the game.

Still hunting an experienced skinner though... Got a few potential skinners, but no one has committed 100%. If I don't find some folks very soon, I'm going to have to look up some of my college friends and get them on board.

The opening still stands. This will be my last post requesting help with this, so if you want to be involved in this project at any level, please pm asap. I understand some people might not take this seriously, but rest assured, it won't be too long before you're hearing about this game! Confusedhock:

***SKIN ME!***

P.S.- That Panzer IV was made by one of our modelers. He's a trained professional, and he is absolutely awesome with what he does. His nickname is "aidenpryde". Just wanted to give credit where credit is due.
