I am trying to upload pictures for my profil. And it says :
the avitar filetype must be jpg.gif or png.
What i am doing rong i have allredy resized the pictures to 150 pic whit i infaview?
what are you saving as when you resize?? bmp ?? if so change it to jpg
Yes i do have resize the pictures and i am not sure of how to upload the pictures for this forum pleace?
And also is it like the same who um whitch file-format i do use for upload? And i do not know how to use infanview either?
If you already have resized it to 150pixels, you just need to do a few more steps (It's been a while since I used Irfan):
-Open it again in IrfanView
-Goto "file", select "save as..."
-Write easy name of file (redarrows2006?)
-select type of file (should be JPEG or JPG, or maybe PNG)
-if it asks you to set quality, 80-85% should be plenty
-click on "save"
Now in this forum, go to your profile, scroll to bottom, click on "browse" and go to where you saved your redarrows2006.jpg picture. Then click on "submit".
