A class design, simple yet bold in disdaining a pretense to camo---come and get me if you dare!

There have been so many very colourful skins released recently that this one's subtlety belies it's art. I see a flight of these guys coming in, saying "We're here to do business and it ain't gonna be pretty!". I'd use this in the "Air Pirates" Campaigns.

Can you make your skins a bit more weathered? I can't really see pirates as glossy knights, they need to be slightly sloppy.

Wow! Cool! If you want to add the skins to the .MIS files I would be more than happy to reupload it with them, adding you to the credits.
I'd do it myself but I am busy with work, study and family (and reading about Rise of Flight!) so can't take the time.

Sloppy!?! Th' cheek o' 't! I`ll be havin' ye know that we Gentleman o' fortunes always buff our planes t' a high shine before combat.... especially th' cannons, we enjoy rubbin' our cannons.

Great skins there Firelord, the Catalina looks fantastic. I wolud love to see some 190s or 109s in that scheme - they would look ultimate badass.

I don't know it yet but i think about making such a skin for every type of Aircraft in the game.
Please can someone collect all the void.bmp's for all downloadable planes on that site??

Actually, I have to say that I agree with the comments about using templates. It would look much better, some weathering would also look good. However, it's just for fun so do what you want.

Seconded! Of all the main combatant's fighters, the 109s definately the most predator-like look.

I've seen skins that are worse then these playing il2 online, the point is that they look okay,
and it works. well done Lt. Corran Horn :wink:
