How does the text show destroyed objects
#1

When reading through the .mis file how do you tell destroyed objects, especially if they're part of the maps actors static and not placed by user?

[Edit] Once again I had to work this out myself and this also answered my Question to FlyZo about the destroyed objects which I believe you but I still couldn't understand why they were destroyed but here it is, I created a mission which contained no objects and I just opened the destruction brush and painted away at a section then afterwards opened the file and I had this..

I cut and deleted this section of text from the map that had all the destroyed objects and voila no more destroyed bunkers etc.. now that I think about it I had started with grafting and editing someone else's ships and landing crafts from the original Normandy map and that's how it probably showed up once I started from scratch it wasn't there. You may also edit the damage of objects under the [Buildings] header in the mission file

[Buildings]
0_bld House$LargeCrane1 1 264896.65 33212.60 625.00
1_bld House$LargeCrane1 0 264888.01 33145.32 665.00

The first Crane1 has a number 1 after the name Crane1,
the second one I edited with a 0 after the Crane1 name in the mission file which will make this Crane1 destroyed in the mission file

This only works for objects under the [Buildings] header and is useful when building templates to create specific destroyed objects and buildings in your mission file.
