Is anyone working on making ground & air invasions more realistic? I'm thinking like having landing craft or cargo ships carry vehicles, tanks etc & have the vehicles/tanks drive off the ships at the invasion beach. For air invasions, what about paratroops converting into static (say machine gunners) & mobile untits (say a low level mobile artilery piece and/or vehicle/arilery/supply convoys) when they land. Any other ideas on how to make invasions more realistic? Any way to do this in FMB at the moment?

Play DCG Campaigns!
You have paratroopers change to static vehicles, landing craft or cargo ships carry tanks or vehicles to the Beachheads, you have mobile units, artillery and so on!
IMO making ground battles more realistic is more up to the mission builders, but having more static vehicles/armor (Under the Objects section so we can destroy them) that we can put with the toy soldiers we currently have would be nice. Some landing craft and amphibious objects would be sweet as well.

No,not during the mission, but after the outcome of the last mission! If the e.g. C-47 drops the paras at the "dropzone" during the last mission,DCG creates in the next mission at this point ground units or a freighter reached a beachhead without been sunk, drops tanks or vehicles in the next mission!
For me its good enough!
Greetings!

I understand!
Years ago, I have a dynamic OFP campaign created for myself, for me to present the mission Buider with the most possibilities and simple to use!
A merger of the mission Builder from OFP with IL-2!
