Hi, no. I use buttons from halifax mk 3 mod and the dzz group that released on here the new fw-190d variants esp the 92 lloadout one found here. those had a button folder.
Hello,
got the same problem with some planes (P-51 and some bombers). No internal/external sounds, just weapons and prop buzzing.
I think, it's due to the reason I use SAS buttons together with Soundmod 0.93 and patched to 4.09m.
=>My solution was to move all presets and samples from /Files to the mod folder "/Mods/STD/..." and to get rid of the file called ".preload" in the game's "files" folder. I also edited the fileslist.txt according to that.
Side-effect of that was, that some effects looked different after that.
Don't exchange the presets from soundmod with the ones from SAS or You won't hear anything due to missing samples.
I don't know what those file does or why it's there. And don't forget to back-up things...
Maybe that helps
I have this problem with certain planes and I haven't installed any other buttons files.
sorry, I was wrong. It's true, some planes still have that bug.
I also checked
- different button files, no difference with the ones working with 4.09m (the old ones are from AAA Soundmod or the Halifax bomber were 100% working)
- sound settings in configuration tool (44kHz and 22kHz, different accel. modes)
- different sound mods (Jaffa and SAS)
- sample frequencies and channels (changed to 22kHz and mono)
- checked preset files for motor.PrattWhitney_R-2600_Series.prs and motor.Packard_Merlin.prs, since the P-51 and A-20 do not have sound and use that engine
- installed SAS stand-alone sound mod
Nothing put back sound for that planes.
=> So my advice: Do NOT use 4.09m together with soundmods!
