Player aircraft do not break apart.
#1

Hi there, this is a lurker's first post.

I downloaded and installed the Sound Mod and the Aircraft pack last night, and I noticed that player aircraft no longer break apart on contact with the ground or water if there are any crew left on board.

I was wondering if this a a common problem or just me. Any help?

Is your difficulty set to unrealistic landing or invunrablilty??? These are the only thing I know of that will produce such results. I've never heard of someone having this happen just from installing sound mods or UI.

Nope, vulnerability is on.

Aircraft still break up, but only when they're being fired on or when they hit something and I'm not on board.

That would be class files or missing texture error .
Make sure you installed everything as it should be in right order .
When there is class files error or missing texture not being loaded , there are many possibilities of outcome .
One of them is that for example , damage model can get disabled for specific situations until problem with
class error file or missing texture is resolved .
It sounds extremely similar to these two things .

you should have been more specific as to what is this stuff you just installed and it could have been installed all wrong .

Hi!

I think in difficulty setting you have to activate " Realistic landing".

That seems to have done it. Never noticed that option before. Thanks.
