"Fictional" Maps???
#1

I'll have to tread carefully here as there are many who didn't even like the "what if" of 1946 but,
will there be maps which didn't actually feature any or little aircraft.

I first though of this when thinking about the Gallipoli campaign and the Mesopotamia battles.
I would love to fly my Camel over Sulva Bay or the sands of the Middle East!

Anyway I hope I haven't caused too much trouble asking this...

You are not far off the mark on this ... being a map addict I've got some very out of the way locations already set up in basic maps ... the Hejaz, the Dardanelles, Tsing-Tao, and others. And in a short while there should be a Syria-Cyprus map ready as well. The only thing holding it up a bit is a lack of skills in the actors tools department. The actors is already at 500k and really needs more objects. So this one is not quite ready yet ...

And sometime either today or tomorrow I'll be posting another map in an out of the way, desert and harsh looking location ... just need to finish a few odds and ends ...

Caldrail's Zimbotho is a fantastic map, with lots of diversity in the landscapes depicted. It couldbe used for many ficticious scenarios.

Cheers
