Gauges not working in Storch cockpit.
#1

I have just downloaded the excellent Storch cockpit by Ranwers & also noticed some gauges do not have needles. This has been mentioned several times in the cockpit thread but never answered.
I also have MSFS 2004 on my PC, & a useful feature is the ability to resize, add or move any gauge in the cockpit - also you can remove the gauge & replace it with a completely different one. It doesn't matter what you do - the gauge will always work. As an extreme example I fitted a Cessna 172 with a full glass cockpit as fitted to modern airliners.
The obvious question is - can we do this in IL-2? Can we take a gauge from any other German aircraft & put it in the Storch? Can gauges be resized? Can items be added from another aircraft - someone mentioned a missing magneto switch in the Storch?
I await the replies with interest!!

Sorry Chris, none of that is possible except by modifying the artwork, or grabing from another aircraft "Manually".

Thanks Spinetti. I understand about the artwork problem, but you are saying that it is possible to take a gauge from one aircraft & put it in another. Keeping the answer simple (for me!) how do you do that?
Thanks for your help.

Chris, I don't think it would be simple at all. I'm not sure how you do that either. Probably takes editing of the artwork, as well as the code behind it.

Thanks again Spinetti. Seems it is not as simple as it would first appear! Perhaps one of the gurus of IL-2 can help? Ranwers perhaps? His cockpits are superb & it seems the Storch is the only one with the gauge problem.
