Modifying missions mad in UI 1.2 within HSFX 4.1
#1

I'm having a problem within HSFX for which I have not yet found an answer and want to know if anyone has the same problem. I've installed HSFX 4.1 correctly from a clean DVD to 4.08 to 4.09 to HSFX 4.0 to 4.1 with any and all patches so there is no mistake there.
I've found that missions I made within UI 1.2 cannot be modified within the FMB of HSFX 4.1. The mission file will not open. I can fly the mission fine within HSFX, I just can't open the mission within FMB to modify it.
I thought there might be a problem because of that great zuti mod so I made a test mission in HSFX and then copied and pasted the MDS section of the mis.file to the UI 1.2 mis file that I wanted to open, figuring that since I really didn't change anything within the zuti mod's writing of info to the mis. file, that all would be the same. The file still would not open.
Again, I can fly the UI 1.2 made mission within HSFX fine. I just can't open it within the HSFX FMB.
Any suggestions?

check the maps you made them on.

Not all the maps some of us had under 1.2 are there in HSFX.
a few are missing, some .. which we had custom textured versions of are gone as well and all thats left is the origional.

Ive got 100 DCG campaigns I am haivng to redo and have only had a problem with like 5 or 6

The maps are in the MODS/mapmods/maps folder of HSFX. I put them there manually and they have been checked with the universal static ini checker and they are fine.
I was able to make a test mission on HSFX and then after saving it, I copied and pasted the parts of the mis file from my UI 1.2 mission into the mis file of the HSFX test mission and saved that. I was then able to open in HSFX FMB my test mission that now had all the particulars of the UI 1.2 made mission and made any further modifications that I wished and was able to again save that.
That was one solution but not a practical one if you have many missions that need adjusting.
I was wondering what the difference was between the two mis files that caused the UI 1.2 one not to be able to be opened in HSFX FMB
