In otherwords yet anothher up grade and yet another 15 hrs downloading a yet new installer because the old one won't work with the new version of IL2
Hi,
Everything has a cost. It might not be in money. The cost might be in time, attention, relationships, equipment, creativity, etcetera.
IL-2 Society progress costs all of us, to different degrees. The leaders, of which I am not, spend much more time, labor, and money than we do-all to benefit everybody.
Progress requires change. We are building for the future a Society of simulation enthusiasts who will expand the interest in World War Two aviation, and aviation in general.
The desirable projects will rise to become creme. The inferior will eventually become dregs. This is the evolution of modding combat flight simulation.
The individual can do anything he wants with his IL-2. As my squadron commander says, once in a while: " Lead, follow, or get out the way. " I do not want to be one to hinder progress.
We are simply discussing these issues. All is well because this is what we need to develop-both personally and as a community. As one of my squadron mates says, " It's about communication. "
Thank you, RAF 209_Benge, for giving me an excuse to address this.
