I've grabbed the 68TH AND 79TH Fighter group skins for the P-40M...and geez! I'm a P-40 pilot now.
I've all but ignored this airplane in IL-2. Now I'm in it, all the time. With those skins, the new bomb rack mod, new textures for the cockpit that I found at SAS, this has turned into a great model. The dihedral doesn't even bother me, anymore! And now we even have the Rolls Royce version. Lotsa good lovin' for the old Warhawk.
Is there a possibility of adding a late war, star and bars type U.S. marking, for those 79th skins? They are beautiful, and can double for 23rd Fighter Group Warhawks, with the stripes removed.
Also, is there a way you can give that drop tank the same war weary look you gave those airplanes? The one it has now, is almost white. A dirty, stained tank would look terrific , hanging there.
