I find it hard to fine my plane's icon on the map with it being white sometimes and just wanted to change it's color or add some outline. But the only graphics tools that I have will not save it in 32bit TGA. It only saves it at 24bits max. Is there some free graphics too that will let me paste the changes in and then save at 32bit TGA?

Just go into Files, Icons and open the "Plane"tga file and colour it any colour you wish. If you are going to try black i sugggest you make a back up copy.
