Other than certain people want to have the keys to the kingdom and intentionally make it a bear to do what should be simple, like, add a friggin' skin to whatever airplane you like to fly.

OK, I'm not a computer guru by any means but, by God, it seems to me to be a little too involved a process. Basically, it's a pain in the scrotum. OK?

Is there anyone out there that is a no-BS guru that hears the lament that I am mirroring for so many IL-2 fanatics out there that, so as to not be flamed to death, just wish that there was an easy way to install whatever mod, but ain't digging the pain that comes with asking how to install any of the 10.352 -17th power different ways??????

Don't gimmie' that JSGME or whatever BS. It only works for x percent of y people anyway, and we all know it.

Don't get me wrong. The folks who have taken the time and put in the mega-hours to make the mods and new planes and....all that stuff...man, I just cannot say enough good things. You really have brought joy to my otherwise dull and once-upon-a-time exciting life. Thank you times a couple million cubic shitloads.

PLEASE. Can you help to share the joy that is IL-2 with he rest of humanity by devising an easy way to put whatever mod, regardless, into our favorite passtime?? Easily? Without a million headaches and ten thousand guys calling us stupid? Huh? CanYa? Pretty Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. ??????????????

If I wanted to work so friggin' hard I would just go to FlightSafety.....again.

do you even follow directions? what's so hard about putting a plane folder into MODS, and adding a line to air.ini? you, sir, need to work on your computer skills. i would be willing to help if you state your problems specifically

Some facts:

-I have never seen flaming here with new guys
-JSGME is not BS
-You will succeed in the mod installation by following the guides precisely
-85% get their mods work the first time
-The rest 15% ask and get help and their games are working.
-The game was not designed for mods, that's why it's so hard.

It is not that hard as said above in other posts read the read-mes and follow the directions then ask in a polite way and it will get straighten out.

There is no need to be so condescending to someone that is obviously new here.
Some people just don't feel comfortable poking around with files that could potentially frag their entire game.
