Hi all,

I want to make another il2 video/ movie with a B17 or B24 bomber, but I can't find the cockpit mod here. (links inoperative, or it's in a big package for UP (and I haven't got that(it makes my game crash))) I also tried google.

I would like to know where I can download a B17 or a B24 cockpit mod.

The U.I. (Unified Installer) mods were rolled into the HSFX large mod pack. The HSFX 5.0 and HSFX 5.01 hotfix patch were recently released and include nice mods since the UI. The B-17 and B-24 are flyable with cockpit mods.

UP and other mod packs will soon include the HSFX 5.01 mod pack, if I understand correctly.

HSFX 5.0 will require you to patch IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 combat flight simulation all the way upto 4.101 if you want a fresh installation.Fireskull

ty for the information, But I mostly play il2 with my brother on a LAN, and it's almost impossible to patch il2 on his computer,( he is stuck at 4.08m) he can't deeinstall il2 properly in order to make it updated better. With U.I. I can use 4.08 and 4.09 which is very usefull, that's why I would like to keep U.I.

Allright the cockpits work, thanks.
But my laptop is getting a bit broken, it overheats. It started with Rise Of Flight and now even il2 makes my computer crash in 30 minutes. hock: We tried to open my laptop but that didn't work.

Hi,

A cooling pad with two fans is kept under my laptop at all times. It runs with power through one of the USB ports.

... no more overheating since getting it.
