Hi DM, thanks for this information.

I have a newbie question regarding the patch : do you know if we have to donwload it and to self extract it into IL2 COD folder or does Steam download it automatically (like for example ROF download alone updates so you don't have to check it on forums to improve your game...) ?

Steam has been used by me and I have downloaded several games with it. Every game that I got from them allowed me to choose the installation location and updates were provided through STEAM with a notification to me that there was an update. STEAM will give you the update as soon as it becomes available.

Now the only bit of information missing about SDK's and modding is if its going to be protected unlike IL2.

I'm not in a mood to see my work (to haters: yes i know i haven't anything for IL2 just because of it being so openned) used against my will.
