Is there a Model viewer for the IL-2 planes that can load skins too? When I make skins I usually have IL-2 and Gimp open at the same time, but lately when both of those programs are open at the same time, Gimp slows down and then stops working, I got very P.O.'d when I was nearly done with a skin and it just froze and it was only saved as .bmp which means all the layers were merged, and I had to pretty much start all over again and it was nowhere near as good as my first attempt.

I have 4 gb of RAM, which should be more than enough to help me, there's not even any battle going on, just viewing the plane to see how the skins turn out.

Hmmm...

Have you tried re-installing Gimp, or closing down some background applications?
