MMO version of COD / IL-2???
#1

Hi there

What's this talk of turning IL-2 or Cod into a MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online game), dose any one know any thing about it???

I've been on holiday, come back and see some talk of this over on the C1 forums. I'm so confused, dose this mean that Cod and the addon is dead and that there going over to some thing like Microsoft Flight or god forbid some thing like World of Warplanes????

Quote:In addition to the swimming paradise in Royal Quest, «1C-Online" plans to release a multiplayer game. At this time it's online version of the great " IL-2 . " Just taking off from our language question, "but you're not afraid of competition?" Alex told me that the "Stormtrooper" a huge fan base, and that these people are so severe that they will not play in any other "planes". The most important thing we can say about the line "IL-2" - this is a very hardcore game for real virpilov, that is, people who are willing to sacrifice for the sake of convenience controls 100% of its realism. See the game at least one eye, at least in the alpha version, most likely, it will be possible until next year.

Recently finished the game developers conference, during which the information was leaked that the company developed 1C Online MMO, which became the basis for the simulator "IL-2 Sturmovik."

Officially, the game will be announced very soon, the maximum - in June 2012, the details yet, little is known except that it will please his hardcore - virtual pilots of the "Assault", the original will be pleased with the level of realism and complexity. Those who have not yet tried his hand at the role of the pilots will also be able to enjoy the game, after seriously trained.

Got nothing against MMO's but what I mean is this like a new game based on IL-2 or Clod's game engine or are they giving up with Clod and turning it into a MMO?

Right click on CoD and select properties, then verify Cache, at this point it will download any missing files and replace corrupt ones with new ones 8)

BlackSix Friday Update, June 01, 2012 Wrote:Good day everyone!

We continue to work on the patch. We’ve just completed all scheduled tasks dealing with performance improvements and will start on the list of various graphics glitches tomorrow. We’re also continuing to work on improving aircraft FM and system modules. These tasks will take at least four days, meaning we won’t being internal testing until next Friday at the earliest. If the internal test version is good and stable, it won’t take too long after that to release it to the public.

We also continue to introduce you to aircraft from our future not-yet-announced project. The official announcement is just a few short weeks away. Until then, we won’t be able to provide more details and answer specific questions, but please rest assured we aren’t in any way shape or form planning to move away from our reputation as the most realistic WWII sim on the market.

The plane we’re showing today is the famous Soviet LaGG-3 fighter that bore the brunt of the fighting alongside the I-16, Yak-1 and the MiG-3 in the most difficult early years of the war. Opinions on its quality differ greatly, however this forefather of the fearsome Lavochkin line of fighters remained in service with the Soviet VVS until the very end of the war.

Have a great weekend!

In other news... I did what you said Planemad and this happend!!!
